| From the Similak Chyld Website: Sabrina Tsang (aka Similak Chyld) uses time-honored DJ skills to fuse hip hop, dancehall, breaks, latin, drum and bass and house music. A relative newcomer to the bay area scene, Similak's first break came while producing and hosting her own hip hop show alongside Bay Area Hip Hop pioneer Kevvy Kev. During that time, she hosted a syndicate urban television show called Back Stage Pass. She also worked with Toni Tony Tone's Dwayne Wiggins on the production of the Too Short documentary "Life Is." After making her rounds on the Bay Area circuit honing her skills as a DJ, she hooked up with the crew at Future Primitive Sound. She has played regularly at the Sound Sessions and has a residency at the Moneyshot at Milk, Spreadlove@ Madrone and Butterfly Lounge.
